WildPlay Co prioritise the healthy development of children. We are advocates for nature immersion, specifically, spending less time being entertained by screens and toys and instead engaging in adventurous outdoor play where real life skills are developed and resilience and problem solving are required. We acknowledge that this comes with risk but believe that opportunities to engage in authentic play - that can sometimes be risky - are an essential part of childhood. We also believe that to facilitate the next generation of environmental stewards, we first need our children to develop a meaningful connection with nature.

What do we do?

We offer outdoor adventure programs for children that facilitate learning experiences in wild environments. Our programs focus on authentic play, real-life outdoor skills, exploration and creativity. WildPlay Co Nature Immersion encourages children to develop a connection and appreciation for the natural world, while also developing resilience, confidence and independence. Our programs are designed to be child-led and inquiry based where children have the freedom to work on skills that are of interest to them.
